Have fun with your dog - Agility!

Agility is a fun-filled way of exercising your dog.  It stimulates your pet's mind and is great for active dogs.

Many dog owners who use agility training find that it develops the dog's muscles, co-ordination and brain.  The bond between dog and owner grows even closer as the dog learns to trust and listen to commands whilst having a fun experience. It gives them a different way to keep fit and healthy.

Agility training is suitable for all breeds and ages and can be undertaken for fun or if you and your dog really enjoy it why not compete?  Dogs are initially trained using a double lead to keep them in the centre of the jump or obstacle.  Once they are ready they move on to one lead and eventually train off lead.  Sessions are at the dog and owners pace and no dog is forced to do anything it is not keen to undertake.

The photos are of some of our vets and their pets  testing out their training skills - who knows, you may see one of these dogs competing at Crufts one day!

Agility training sessions can be booked at Bluebell Kennels
