Forest of Dean Cats Protection is a registered charity. They are arranging free neutering for a limited period for the pets of owners who register their cat to be neutered with Summerview Veterinary Surgery

With the approaching cat breeding season upon us Forest of Dean Cats Protection are urging cat owners to neuter their pets to prevent illness or injury and reduce the number of unwanted kittens in the area. It is advisable to neuter your cat once it reaches the age of three months.
Did you know that cats searching for a mate are far more likely to be injured in road accidents or fighting with unneutered cats? There are also risks to your pet in passing on or contracting the FIV or FeLV virus either through the act of mating or when injured in a fight.
Forest of Dean Cats Protection are working with the vets at Summerview Veterinary Surgery to assist cat owners in neutering their pets. If you have a cat over three months of age please make an appointment to have your cat neutered and Forest of Dean Cats Protection will pay the neutering fee on your behalf.
