Subsidised neutering for your dog
Summerview Veterinary Surgery is delighted to be working with the Dogs Trust to provide a subsidised neutering service for your dog.

Summerview Vets advise neutering your pets unless you want to breed from them.
Pet neutering (or castration for boys and speying for girls) helps to stop unwanted litters, reduces the likelihood of certain diseases and cancers, helps reduce territorial marking and helps reduce certain kinds of aggression. Your pet can be neutered from six months of age.
There is no need to pre-register with the Dogs Trust. We are able to prepare all the paperwork here to make it easier for you to book your pet’s operation.
You will be asked to contribute £30 to have your dog neutered and the Dogs Trust will meet the rest of the cost. To be eligible you must be in receipt of certain benefits:
Eligible benefits* are:
- Income Support
- Jobseeker’s Allowance (income based)
- Working Tax Credit
- Housing Benefit
- Council Tax Benefit
- Pension Credit
* eligibility criteria subject to change you are advised to check before booking your appointment.
Documentation of proof of eligibility must be provided when you book your pet’s appointment. Please telephone our receptionists on 01291 620661 for more information or to check eligibility or visit the Dogs Trust website here
